Sally, yes, Adam reminds me of Elvis too. I mentioned that in an earlier post - I said I swear he channels Elvis - its uncanny. (Hearing "Twilight
Zone" music!) Havent seen the results show yet. So they did use the save...mmm. Next week will be interesting then.

watched it a little, anyone see it? Well......they are bringing it back this summer, and guess who's on it? Sanjaya!!! Lol, also Gov Blagojevich from IL
 - I haven't heard who else yet, but Sanjaya is on it omg. It is said one gets $80,000 to be on it, (lots of talk on Chicago news because of the
former Gov), but I wonder how Sanjaya will do?

Any picks on the double elimination?
I think Lil is a sure bet. The other one will probably be either Anoop or Matt. I liked Chris' arrangement on "She Works Hard For The Money". I wasn't expecting that. Allison was solid, as usual. Danny and Adam were the winners of the evening, I think. I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict the way the last 4 will go like this: 4th place--Chris 3rd place--Allison and the final between Adam and Danny. My head tells me right now that Adam will win it, but I'm rooting for Danny. Shane

My predication for bottom 3 is Lil, Anoop and Matt. I liked Chris' version of that song - very clever. Allison continues to amaze me - such a polished, mature performer. And of course Adam and Danny shine, as usual. A couple of twinkling stars. |

I certainly wasn't expecting Allison to be in the bottom three. I think her performance was better than that! I wasn't overly shocked by Anoop and Lil
leaving.
So now we're down to 5. I wonder when the contestants start getting 2 songs a week. If not next week then I'm thinking the week after. It certainly was a Paula love fest tonight. I wonder what prompted that. Shane

Yes having Allison in the bottom 3 was quite surprising. It seems she may not be "connecting" with the public. Perhaps her overt maturity is a little confronting....? Not surprised to see Lil go. Or Anoop - I suppose it had to be someone. Now that its down to 5, some very talented people will be saying their goodbyes. |

....well, we have to remember there were only 7, so Allison has to be placed somewhere in the votes....I thought Lil would be going based on the performance,
but I thought Matt too...Anoop's performance was better than his I thought...I agree, I think it will be between Adam and Danny in the end.

Good show tonight! I don't think any of the performances were bad, to be honest with you. If I had to pick one that was maybe a bit "weaker" than
the others, I'd pick Matt. But I still think he delivered a good performance.
It gets difficult now to kind of weed out the people, because they are all such strong performers. Who recognized Adam's song from Davy's Just For The Record CDs?

I agree all the performances were very good. I really enjoyed all of them a lot. Chris is really coming into his stride now. Allison showed a softer side to
her performance and did a great job. I liked Matt's vocals a lot. Danny and Adam were jaw dropping fabulous - as usual. Its a tough call, these 5 are so
good. But to make a prediction, then I guess I'll say..... Matt

No matter how good a contestant is he still needs the vote. Maybe this will be a wake-up call to those who thought "oh he doesn't need my vote,
he'll win." And I'm sure it was also a wake-up call to Adam himself. Not that he didn't do great. And the next category is right down his
alley. He should do great in rock and roll. I wonder if he'll do Elvis.

It was very surprising to see Adam in the bottom 2 this week. It must be the "he's safe cause everyones voting for him" mentality. Just goes to
show.... I bet that wont happen twice! Well at least not before the final anyway. I was glad to see that poor Allison wasnt in the "hot spot" yet
again. A nice change for her. Looking forward to Rock N Roll week.

Yeah, I was totally surprised to see Adam in the bottom 2. I thought Danny held the edge this week, but I wouldn't have thought Adam would wind up where he
was.
Should be an interesting week with Slash on board next week. I'm curious as to what everyone will choose to sing. I agree that this will be right up Adam's alley. Chris might be in a bit of trouble next week unless he comes up with something cool. I'm thinking we're getting to the point where the remaining contestants should start getting 2 songs a week. Shane

I liked the "Rat Pack" week, at least I knew some of the songs! I would have gotten rid of Allison long ago. I couldn't understand her words,
and I knew the song! IMO you should be able to understand them, I wouldn't vote for anyone I couldn't understand, but that is only one of the reasons
in her case. But I swore I would never vote again when Ruben beat Clay and the line was so busy I couldn't even get through to vote for Clay. And I have
never voted again, either.
