I have reached the point where I must start selling items from my Davy and Monkees collection. I am going to be offering more items in the near future as I come to terms with parting with them. It is my hope that some of these items (if not all) will be able to go to loving homes and fans who enjoy them as much as I have. Here is how it works: Send me an e-mail versus posting a message on MySpace to ensure I get your message stating what you'd like to buy or any questions. I'll confirm your purchase and will figure out shipping at that time. Everything will be based on a first come first served basis. Monkees - "Head" Press Book UNCUT - $50

Details: Black and white press book containing ad mats and information for movie theaters to order/use promotional items for the film. The book is folded along the top 1/3

and has a split starting in the side seam. Otherwise, it is in excellent condition with nothing cut out of it which is hard to find!

Monkees - Week of Feb 5, 1967 TV Program from "The Kansas City Star" - $50

Details: Featuring the Monkees in full color cover. Program is folded in half but has no effect on condition of the newspaper. Spot on the cover over the drum (see picture). These type of programs are really hard to find!

Monkees - "The Monkees Annual 1967" in Dutch (title is actually "Goed Gek met de Monkees") - $40

Details: Purple hard cover annual all in Dutch! It is the same as the UK version you may be familiar with. The cover has a bit of a ding at the top where the brown cardboard shows and a scrape on the lower left hand side where some white paper shows through but otherwise is in really good condition. Please refer to the pictures.

Details: Handbill from Davy and Micky's performance in the play. Very colorful collectible! Has a fold in the middle but has been stored completely flat so it isn't very noticeable.

Davy Jones - "Grease" and "The Real Live Brady Bunch" theatrical items - $20

Details: Large program from Davy's run as Vince Fontaine in "Grease" including a pull out poster with his bio; Stagebill from "Shubert Theatre" (condition is fair - the program is lopsided); large newspaper ad for "Grease" at Shubert Theatre promoting a meet and greet with Davy beforehand; handbill from "The Real Live Brady Bunch" with Davy's promotion from "Michigan Theater"; postcard on blue paper promoting Davy's appearance in "The Real Live Brady Bunch" from "Michigan Theater".

Davy Jones/Micky Dolenz - "Star Games" May 1979 program - $10

Details: I'm not sure where this came from but it appears to be a UK charity sporting event Davy and Micky participated in about 1979. Note: Their names appear in the program as participating but otherwise there are no pictures. You can see Micky's name under the "Comedy" section for May 13 and Davy's name under the "Variety" section for May 19. It's interesting that they are considered to be in 2 separate categories of "stars". The program has been folded in half vertically down the middle.

Monkees - "24 Monkees Hit Songs" 1960s booklet - $10. Features lyrics to Monkees songs and a page dedicated to each Monkee. Also has a rare interview with Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart. Mint condition! Paper it is printed on is like newspaper.

Davy Jones - Fold out advertisement for "Monkees Memories and Media Madness" circa 1991 - $20

This is a cardboard stock fold-out ad previewing his second book (with a hand written note of an Aug '92 release) which would later be called "Mutant Monkees Meet the Masters of the Multi-Media Manipulation Machine". Note that along with a different title the look of the book was originally going to be different. The inside of the ad is very interesting as well so please check out the photos.

History: Back in the 1990s I had heard the "rumor" that if you ordered Davy's book you would get a "free" cassette (having not seen this ad before…this ad comes from my husband's old collection). When I ordered Davy's book the company told me that was a misprint or that it was just that - a rumor - (I can't remember what exactly they said) and that no tapes were ever supposed to be distributed for free with the book! They stated that the tape in question (which is actually titled "The Greatest Story Ever Told") was originally titled "Free" hence the confusion! They went ahead and sent me the tape for free anyway. But after ALL of these years I see it was NOT a rumor since this advertisement states the tape was to be given away with the book. Makes me wonder if it was in fact a misprint or if there was confusion elsewhere! Kind of a cool tidbit to me…Abby

Monkees - Calendar 2003 "Memorabilia Price Guide & Reference Calendar" SEALED limited edition number 1738/5000. - $10

The last year of the "official" Monkees calendars released. This calendar is awesomely beautiful if you're into pictures of Monkees collectibles. Full color pictures in every month with price guides for the memorabilia featured. Refer to the photos below to see what I mean. One selling point of this calendar is that you can use it again in 2014!

Monkees - "Combo" magazine with Monkees Promo Card from Oct 1995 #9 magazine. - $15

Note: When Rhino released the Monkees trading cards in this time period "Combo" magazine received the opportunity to place an additional Monkees trading card within their magazine. This magazine was only available to those who belonged to the "Combo" collector's card club (which had nothing to do with The Monkees) or if you specifically wrote to the company asking for this edition. I never opened the magazine since it has a mention of the free Monkees card on the packaging (per the photos below) and you can see the card through the packaging as well.

Monkees - 4 sheets of address labels from the 1960s - $10

Refer to the photos below. These sheets came from old teen magazines in the 1960s. You would cut out the address label of your favorite star and affix it with glue or tape to letters, etc. Given where they originated from the sides of them are a bit rough (as they were torn from the magazines back then). Davy, Micky, Peter and Mike are all featured.

Monkees - "The Ultimate Monkees Trivia Book" by Ellen L. Puerzer (1986, 1987) - $25

Paperback, 144 pages. Features trivia questions on all of "The Monkees" TV episodes. Book was published by the person who ran the Nesmith News fanclub.

Poster - Monkees double sided poster from a 1960s poster book in VG condition - $20 plus shipping

Details: On one side - Pink border with black & white photos of the Monkees from one of their TV episodes with "Monkees we took the last train to Clarksville and became the believers". This poster was shipped to us in packaging with the packaging (not the poster itself which is wrapped within the plastic wrapping) affixed to cardboard to keep it secure so I don't know what the other side is a picture of but I'm assuming it's one of the whole group.

Note: In the photos at the top of the poster are 2 small sets of staple holes but the poster overall is very vibrant with no other flaws or bends. The are another 2 staple holes on the right corner. It was never even rolled into a poster tube! The tape and folds you see is the camera reflecting off of tape holding the plastic wrapped around the poster and the wrap itself…NOT a reflection of the condition of the poster!

Davy Jones - "Just For The Record Vol 2" 1995 cassette tape - $15 (plus shipping) VERY hard to find - not available on Davy's site anymore!

Details: Why a cassette, you ask? Well, in 1995 when Davy first released these volumes a cassette was the only way you could buy them. Includes a black and white booklet with pictures and a statement from Davy about these unreleased recordings mostly from reels in his attic or demo tapes never before heard. From the 1970s-1980s.
