Been looking for some people that I could talk to about the Monkees... that wouldn't give me funny looks. (Most of my friends at home do.) I've been a fan since '86, thanks to my mom and MTV's Monkees Marathon. (Though my interest didn't truly grow till '97... since I was only 3 in '86.) My favorite Monkee is Peter. I just absolutly admire him and think he's one of the smartest and strongest people I have ever met. I'm looking forward to being a part of this community.

You've come to the right place to feel at home, understood and appreciated discussing The Monkees! Since you're an admirer of Peter Tork's, you may want to add a note to the "Good Thoughts for Peter" thread in the Tork forum, if you haven't already. He's going to need all that strength you mentioned to get through these next few months, and from what Therra tells us, the support from us fans really seems to be helping to bolster his spirits.
