I would advise anyone who wants the best of David not to go to a concert where his show is before someone elses. I felt scammed. Of course not by David, but by the theater. I paid the most I have ever paid for a ticket and got the least time with David on stage. His time was cut, fewer songs and some of the songs were cut also. I assume there were fewer jokes, too. There was no M&G except a private one not advertised, and extreme security. They announced "no cameras or recorders" before the show. Good luck, Rosemont!! There were flashes all over the place. I took over 100 pics and used 2 recorders, a mini and a regular portable. I found out how hard it is to take pics of David with a digital camera. He never stood still, when I was taking face forward I got side view. I finally pretty much got the hang of at least getting him in the picture. I have some of the top of his head, or one arm or one of his band members because he moved entirely. But I was back of the orchestra pit and 5 more rows back and I was amazed at how far the flash reached and how nice the camera took the pictures. I got a lot of good ones. Thank you so much CinniLuWho for recommending this camera. I will post some when I get around to picking out some and getting them in PhotoBucket. I will probably post them in the Davy forum.
David Cassidy was better than I expected, though not as professional as David. I really enjoyed "I Think I Love You" because I remember Keith Partridge singing it on the Partridge show originally. I was waiting for that song. Since David had left and wasn't doing a M&G I figured I might as well stay for David Cassidy. It didn't cost me anything and I was already there. So I took a few pics since that didn't cost me anything either. And wouldn't you know it, every pic of Cassidy turned out good. Must have been because he didn't move around like David did. He is 58 and looks a lot younger than David, he has brown hair, whether he colors it or not I don't know. They were calling David Jones "The Silver Fox." His hair is a lot grayer than when I saw him last. I have several pics of the back of his head (not necessarily on purpose.)
