I've been a Monkees fan since the mid 80s. I've watched their show from Nickelodeon and WLVI 56. I also have some of their greatest hits albums and I've attended a concert as well. I've always enjoyed the Monkees music and tv show and the whole story behind their success and the aftermath.

I remember WLVI 56 used to play episodes of the Monkees during the summer although they left out a lot of scenes and certain songs due to commercials. You saw the Monkees at Government Center? Sweet! I missed that one. But I made up for it by seeing them live a total of 11 times. :-D (9 times in one year!) The first time I saw the guys was at the Worcester Centrum back in 1986. It was two days after my 11th birthday and the best present I got that year! "I like eggs in the morning and bacon at night. This was around 1997 so at this point it was Davy, Mickey and Peter. The concert was presented by MIX 98.5 and it was performed at City Hall Plaza in downtown Boston. It was a treat to see them for the first time. They rocked the house and put on a good show.

Unfortunately I didn't hear about it until it had already happened. I would've been there otherwise. They always put on a good show otherwise I wouldn't have gone to see them 11 times. I've see our guys at various places in New England. Even made it to Epcot to see Davy once or twice and went all the way to Maryland to see SSB. I can't wait for tomorrow night! Well, SSB used to play at the Sitting Bull Pub in Maynard, Mass (which is where the pic below was taken), I'm not sure if they still do or not (I'm sure someone out there can help me out on this one?). And there was one time when I did see them in Greenfield, NH (about 7 years ago or so). So, to answer your question, yeah, he does make it to both Massachusetts & NH from time to time.
